At the heart of every good Christian school is a committed faculty.  At Faith Christian School, we are pleased with the staff God has provided for us.  Please take time to become more familiar with each member of our school's faculty.

Mr. Mark Widmer, Administrator ( High School Teacher, Basketball Coach)

Mr. Widmer was born and raised in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. After high school he attended Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, majoring in missions. Mr. Widmer then worked as a youth pastor at Sheboygan County Baptist Church in Sheboygan, WI, and then as a teacher at Bible Baptist School in Quincy, Illinois, before becoming the Administrator at Faith Christian School. Aside from his duties at the school, Mr. Widmer also acts as the Municipal Judge for the Village of Coleman.  He and his wife, Naomi, have four children and two grandchildren.

Mrs. Arlene Homontowski, K-4 & K-5

Mrs. Homontowski was born and raised in Sharon, Pennsylvania, where she lived until attending Northland Baptist Bible College.  While at college, she met and married her husband, George.  They moved to Sturgeon Bay in 1980, where their three children were born.  They later moved to Pound, and the Lord opened the door for her to teach Pre-school and Kindergarten classes at Faith.  All of her children are FCS alumni.

Miss Jennifer Ostergard,  1 st - 2 nd

Jennifer Ostergard was born and raised in rural Shannon, IL.  She graduated from Northland Baptist Bible College with a bachelor's degree in piano pedagogy.

Miss Deborah Sobush, 3 rd - 4 th ( Varsity Volleyball, Girls JV Basketball )

Miss Sobush was born in McHenry, Illinois, and grew up in Wisconsin. She attended Faith Baptist Bible College and majored in Elementary education and Bible. Prior to teaching at Faith she taught two years at Twin Falls Christian Academy and two years at Faith Baptist School in Pembine.

Mr. Matthew Smith,  5 th - 6 th

Mr. Smith grew up in Carney, Michigan and attended the Carney Free Church. After high school he attended Bay de Noc Community College and graduated with an Associate Degree in Computer Aided Design. God had other plans. From 1999 to 2003, Mr. Smith attended Northern Michigan University and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education with minors in Mathematics and Science. From Northern, he received a K-8 Michigan teaching certification. He now lives in Marinette with his wife Beth. In his spare time he enjoys outdoor activities and computers.

Mr. John Tolly  ( Bible 7 & 8, Bible Quiz, Band, Economics, Drafting, History,

Civics, Coaches Soccer )

Mr. Tolly grew up in Michigan's lower peninsula. He attended Maranatha Baptist Bible College where he majored in Bible and Secondary education. He and his wife Kathy were married in 1978 and have three children. Before teaching here he taught three years at Hartford Christian Academy in West Hartford, Connecticut, and one year part-time at Maranatha Baptist Academy in Watertown, Wisconsin.  He coached soccer for twelve years, leading Faith to their first WACS state championship in his final year of coaching.

Mrs. Lynn Weirich    ( Math 7, Yearbook, Algebra, Keyboarding, Biology,

Life Science )

Mrs. Weirich graduated from Northland Baptist Bible College in 1995 with a degree in Biblical Counseling.

Miss Jennifer Head    ( English, Spanish II, Speech )

Miss Head is originally from Indianapolis, Indiana.  She received a B.A. in English, minor in Education, from Clearwater Christian College, and a M.S. in English Education from Pensacola Christian College.  Prior to accepting her position at Faith, she taught for eight years at Christian schools in Virginia and Indiana.

Mrs. Naomi Widmer, Choir  ( Jr. High & Sr. High Chorus, Girls P.E. )

Mrs. Widmer was born in LaCrosse, Wisconsin and grew up in Oshkosh. After high school she attended Baptist Bible College, where she majored in Christian Education. The Widmers have four children, Carissa Belford, Caleb, Joel, and Ashley.

Miss Jodi Gretzon, Secretary

Miss Gretzon was born and raised in Pound, Wisconsin.  She is an alumnus of Faith Christian School. She attended Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny, Iowa where she majored in Secretarial Science. Miss Gretzon is currently in her ninth year as secretary at FCS.

Mrs. Debbie Pagel, Librarian  (Elementary P.E.)

Mrs. Vicki Mutchler, Elementary and High School Art

Mrs. Mutchler has taken several art classes while a student at UW-Parkside as well as acrylic and oil classes besides.
